Reshma Abraham, MD, is an internal medicine physician at RescueMD serving patients in and around Allen, Texas. Dr. Abraham is conscientious and is relentlessly committed to her patient’s cause.
She completed medical school at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences in Kerala, India. After completing her education, Dr. Abraham migrated to the United States. She completed a three-year residency program in internal medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Abraham was board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2016. She started practicing medicine, worked as a hospitalist, and was a core faculty in the department of internal medicine at Kent Hospital/Brown University in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Dr. Abraham developed a deep interest in guideline-directed medical therapy and preventive medicine. She decided to move to Dallas to be closer to her family. She then received her medical license in Texas in 2022 and joined RescueMD shortly after.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Abraham enjoys reading books, pencil sketching, collecting houseplants, and spending time with her husband, Kent, and her children, Zaiden and Mary.
Dr. Abraham has been a great addition to RescueMD in the short time she has been there, and the team is glad to have her on the team.
